Web Desk: The cross-examination of the investigating officer of the reference of 190 million pounds against the founding president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan, and his wife Bushra Bibi may not be completed yet today
Accountability Court judge Nasir Javed Rana heard the £190 million reference against the former prime minister and Bushra Bibi.
The cross-examination on the inquiry of the reference could not be completed even today, the lawyers of PTI founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi are continuing the questioning on the inquiry.
In the reference, a contempt of court petition was filed against NAB’s non-response to Bushra Bibi’s appeal for acquittal.
The application was presented by Usman Gul, the lawyer of Bushra Bibi, in which the position was taken that NAB avoids responding to 8 hearings.
The accountability court adjourned the hearing on the reference of 190 million pounds until September 4.
