A 29-month-old girl has been infected with polio in Hyderabad, the second largest city in Sindh province.
According to officials, the girl affected by polio belongs to Liaquat Colony Pretabad UC 5 Hyderabad, the girl is suffering from severe malnutrition, vaccination status is being checked.
Officials also say that the number of polio cases in Sindh this year has increased to three, while the number of children affected by polio across the country has reached 16 so far.
