A boy from Mysore, who was successful even in death, brought light to the lives of five people through organ donation!
Eye donation is called Mahadana. We have heard that it is very good to donate an eye at the time of death. It will be helpful for both of them. Dr. Dr. Rajkumar donated his eyes when he died. So many people have done it this way. We should have given a letter to the hospital when we were alive that we will donate eyes after death. Or should have told our parents. Not only eyes but also body organs can be donated.
In case of sudden death due to an accident, doctors have told many times how the body organs can be donated. Or our parents can donate it. Sanchari Vijay, a Sandalwood actor, also donated some of his body organs when he died.
Now one such example is being added one after the other. The lives of 5 people have been brightened by the family members donating the organs of a boy who was seriously injured in a road accident and had brain dysfunction.
17-year-old Akash was seriously injured in a road accident on Rajkumar Road in Mysore. He was immediately admitted to a local hospital. When a CT scan was done there, it was found that the brain was seriously injured. Later he was taken to Apollo BGS Hospital.

While undergoing treatment at Apollo BGS, Feb. On 28th around 11:30 pm, the doctor said that the brain had stopped. It has been proved that Akasha’s organ can be obtained after Akasha’s healthy background before the accident and according to the Human Organ Transplantation Act, Akasha was examined twice. After the doctor convinced the Akash family about organ donation, they agreed to donate.
Akash donated his liver, kidneys, heart valves and corneas at 3:45 am on Wednesday (March 1). Akash’s liver and left kidney were transplanted at Apollo BGS Hospital, Mysore, while his right kidney was transplanted at Clearmedi Radiant Hospital, Mysore.
The heart valves were sent to NH Hospital, Bangalore. NG Bharatisha Reddy, Vice President and Unit Head, Apollo BGS Hospitals, Mysore informed that the corneas were donated to KR Hospital, Mysore.
All in all, they have found fulfillment even in death. Even after death we should be useful to others and really should do such charities.
