Quetta: A gas pipeline was washed away due to floods in Balochistan’s Mutch area, after which gas supply was suspended in several areas including Quetta.
According to the spokesperson Sui Southern Gas, gas supply has been suspended in Quetta, Mastung, Kalat, Pishin and Ziarat due to the damage to the 18-inch gas pipeline in Mach.
The spokesperson said that after the security clearance, the repair work of the affected gas will be started.
It should be noted that low-lying areas have come under water after heavy rains in different areas of Balochistan, the Meteorological Department has also predicted that the rain will continue till September 1.
