A report has been sought on not making a telephonic meeting with PTI chairman’s sons

Islamabad: The Special Court for Official Secrets Act has sought a report from the Superintendent of Attock Jail for not making a telephonic meeting with the sons of Chairman PTI. Prosecutor Raja Naveed and PTI lawyer Shiraz Ranjha appeared in the court of Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain. During the hearing, lawyer Shiraz Ranjha gave arguments and said that the PTI chairman was not convicted in the cipher case. He is in Attock jail on judicial remand, secret act. Or Punjab Jail Rules apply to criminals. The former prime minister is still not guilty in the cipher case. The PTI lawyer said that the Punjab Prisoners Act applies to convicted criminals. All the accused have the facility of telephonic meeting in Attock Jail. The facility of telephonic meeting has been available to the prisoners for two or three years. It is unfair not to have a telephonic meeting with the children from the PTI chairman. The PTI lawyer also requested to take contempt of court action against the Superintendent of Attock Jail. Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain wrote the decision in the open court, PTI lawyer Shiraz Ranjha requested to adjourn the hearing till September 26.
