Bangalore: Madal Prashant son of BJP MLA Madal Virupakshappa from Channagiri constituency in Davangere district was accepting bribe. A complaint was lodged against MLA Madal Virupakshappa and Prashant. The remaining two also paid for the tender under Section 8 of the PC Act. Three others were in the office related to another tender. He also came to give money to Prashant. They have also been arrested. Lokayukta sources said that a total of five people have been arrested.

Case against Madal Virupakshappa also
There is also a case against MLA Madal Virupakshappa in the Lokayukta Court. He is accused of getting the site by giving false information from the Davangere Urban Development Authority. Shri Ram Sena complained to the Lokayukta about this. The case is under trial in the Special Court of People’s Representatives, Bangalore. Now another case seems to have been registered against him.
