All states agree to take India forward in sports

North Bengal News Digital Desk: All the states agree to take India ahead in sports. In Kevara, Gujarat, the Union Ministry of Sports and Youth Welfare organized a two-day national conference with the Ministers of Sports and Youth Welfare of almost all the states. The conference was chaired by Union Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Anurag Tagore. The conference discussed various aspects of advancing the country’s sports system. The conference was attended by high-ranking officials from 33 states, including sports ministers from 15 states. Speaking at the conference, Anurag Tagore said, “Many such states have the same issues or problems in the progress of sports which can only be resolved through dialogue.” Gujarat Sports Minister Harsh Rameshkumar Sanghvi said in his speech, “We may have different issues, ideals or beliefs in each state, but in these two days of talks, we have to think together about the future of the country’s sports at the international level.” Apart from senior officials from the Sports Authority of India and the Ministry of Sports, Sports Secretary to the Government of India Sujata Chaturvedi and Union Youth Welfare Secretary Sanjay Kumar were also present.
