Alwar. The process of candidate selection in the Congress for the assembly elections has intensified. The work of taking bio-data from ticket claimants for 11 seats in Alwar district was completed on Wednesday. 174 claimants have submitted bio-data for Congress ticket in 11 assembly constituencies in the district. That is, on an average there are 16 claimants of Congress ticket on one seat. Rajgarh-Laxmangarh has the maximum number of claimants out of 11 seats in the district with 28 and Alwar Rural Assembly Constituency has only three. Now on Thursday, there will be a meeting of the District Congress in the presence of the district coordinator and in-charge of the party, in which a panel will be prepared to test the bio-data. This panel will be sent to PCC.
