Amitabh Bachchan praised Shahrukh’s wife Gauri Khan; Says he wants her to design his vanity van
New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan, who is currently hosting the 15th season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, has revealed that he wanted producer and interior designer Gauri Khan to renovate his vanity van, but she is yet to do so. not done.
In one of the episodes, Big B asked contestant Kapil Dev a question which read as follows: Which famous personality is the husband of the author of this book? The name of the book was ‘My Life in Design’. The choices given to the contestant were: Sachin Tendulkar, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Chetan Bhagat.
The contestant chose the correct answer – Shahrukh Khan, as the book was written by his wife Gauri Khan. Big B replied to the contestant saying, “I like the way you play. Your decision is good”.
The actor further added that “In this coffee table book, she features exclusive photographs of her family and reflects on her journey as a designer. He is a home designer. I have also seen their designs.
Bachchan said, “A few days ago, I was shooting with Shah Rukh and while talking, I went into his van. His van is very beautiful. It is very well designed, it has a TV, table and chairs that can be moved. There is also a place for makeup, there is also a toilet. It’s amazing. He (SRK) said that Gauri designed it. In fact, he said he would ask him to design my van as well. But she (Gauri) hasn’t come yet.” Then Big B laughed.
The actor then went on to compliment the contestant’s moustache, saying, “Moonch ho to Nathulal jaisi ho, varna na ho”.
