An important step of the government for the promotion of electric vehicles

Islamabad (Newsdesk) An important step has been taken by the government for the promotion of electric vehicles, motorcycles and electric rickshaws.

According to the announcement issued by the Energy Division, a project of standards for the creation of battery charging stations throughout the country has been prepared.

According to the announcement, it is considered to provide cheap electricity to charging stations, the establishment of charging stations will be implemented according to international standards, after consultation with all stakeholders, the project will be approved soon by the Power Division.

According to the Federal Minister of Energy, Owais Laghari, the electricity connections for the charging stations will be given priority, the supply of economic electricity to the charging stations is considered, the supply of the Electricity and voltage for charging stations will be provided.

Owais Leghari says that the measures will significantly reduce the cost of petrol vehicles, the implementation of these measures will start a new era in Pakistan.
