Another 25 people died in Corona, 2,323 newly infected Kovid-19 in India! – News18 Bangla

#NewDelhi: According to the Union Ministry of Health, there have been 2,323 Covid-19 infections in India in the last 24 hours. As a result, the total number of infections increased to 4,31,34,145. The number of active infections has dropped to 14,998. In the last 24 hours, 25 people have died and the total number of deaths due to Kovid in the country is now 5,24,347, the ministry said. Active infections account for 0.03 percent of total infections. The recovery rate from COVID-19 is 96.75 percent, according to the Ministry of Health.

Daily positivity rate is 0.47 percent and weekly positivity rate is 0.51 percent. The number of people recovering from the disease has risen to 4,25,94,601. The death rate is 1.22 percent. A total of more than 192.12 crore doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the country so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.

The number of Kovid-19 infections in India was 2 million on 6 August 2020, 3 million on 23 August, 4 million on 5 September and 5 million on 16 September. On September 26, 60 lakh, on October 11, 60 lakh, on October 29, 60 lakh, on November 20, 90 lakh and on December 19, 1 crore infections occurred in this country. The country has crossed the dreaded milestone of 20 million infections on May 4, 2021 and 30 million on June 23, 2021.

Of the 25 deaths in the country, 23 were from Kerala and one from Uttar Pradesh and one from Mizoram. According to the Ministry of Health, more than 80 percent of deaths are due to comorbidity.

“Our figures are being matched with those of the Indian Council of Medical Research,” the health ministry said on its website.
