Appasaheb Dharmadhikari: Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced that senior social worker and artist Appasaheb Dharmadhikari will be given the Maharashtra Bhushan Award for the year 2022. Lokmat News Group has also honored Appasaheb Dharmadhikari. In Lokmat’s ‘Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year’ award ceremony, Dr. Padmashree Appasaheb Dharmadhikari, President of Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari Foundation, was awarded the ‘Samajbhushan Jeevan Gaurav Puraskar’.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray honored Dharmadhikari with the Samajbhushan Jeevan Gaurav Award at the Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Awards ceremony. Many people in the country are stuck in caste and religion. That is why it has become difficult to live as a human being in the country at present. But if everyone follows their religion, it will help to improve the country, said senior Nirupankar Dr. Appasaheb Dharmadhikari expressed this at the ‘Maharashtrian of the Year’ award ceremony of ‘Lokmat’.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister sealed the recommendation made by the Maharashtra Bhushan Selection Committee. The Chief Minister also met Appasaheb at Revdanda. Padmashri Dr. Dattatrey and Appasaheb Dharmadhikari have been preaching for the past 30 years and they have started special children’s sanskar meetings for superstitions and sanctification of children and also done a great work of de-addiction in tribal wadis and settlements.
