Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is in India’s infamous Tihar Jail, was given insulin for the first time after his blood sugar levels rose.

Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal also sought insulin from the Rouse Avenue Court.

He also asked for permission to consult a doctor of his choice through video conferencing for 15 minutes a day for treatment, but the court denied his request.

It is to be noted that Aam Aadmi Party workers and leaders staged a protest outside Tihar Jail in West Delhi on Sunday, demanding that Arvind Kejriwal is a diabetic patient and should be given insulin or else he will die.
