Lahore: Pakistan won 2 gold medals in the Asian Mixed Martial Arts Championship.
The four-day Asian Mixed Martial Arts Championship played at the DHA Sports Complex, Lahore has come to an end. Tajikistan and Kazakhstan won 7 and 7 respectively while Pakistan won 2 gold medals.
In the championship, Pakistan’s Iman Khan and Bano Butt managed to win the gold medal defeating their rivals from Kazakhstan.

In the junior flyweight category, Abdul Manan and Zeeshan Akbar faced defeat. Pakistan also won 4 silver medals.
Tajikistan and Kazakhstan led with 7 and 7 gold medals respectively. Bahrain team won 3 gold medals while Kyrgyzstan managed to win 2 gold medals.
