It is to be noted that on Saturday evening, 1,990 bottles of banned phencidyl pills were seized by security guards at Churai Bari of Trakat Karimganj on the way to Agartala after Guwahati. At Agartala, Guwahati, Nicha Jatiya Kaff Chirapakhini No. AS01HC-6669 was now being taken hidden inside the cartons of six Chekiya Om logistics vehicles. The driver and co-driver of the truck have already been arrested. Both of the detained persons are in custody and the investigation is continuing.

On Saturday, a secret source in the BHF forces launched the operation after receiving information that drugs were being smuggled to Bengaluru on the Badarpur railway station. 115 grams of heroin drug was seized in the joint operation of BHF and railway guard at Badarpur railway station at 9 o’clock Chabon. The market price of this year is more than 50 lakhs. The BHF and the Railways arrested two individual Hamchafers who were handling the drug in front of the train.
