Audio Leaks Case: Justice Babar Sattar pleas against judges for malicious decisions

Islamabad (Web Desk) A major development has come in the case of audio leaks, the court imposed a fine of 5.5 lakh rupees on PEMRA, PTA, IB, FIA for filing applications.

In the audio leaks case, Justice Babar Sattar issued a 40-page judgment on all four objection petitions against the judge. To bring the judge under pressure, the three organizations filed an application under the scheme, the judge said.

The court dismissed the pleas of PTA, FIA, IB, Pemra against the judge.

The judgment said that the four institutions tried to force the judge through petitions, the court gave full opportunity to the parties in the issue of tapping the phones of citizens.

The Islamabad High Court wrote in the decision that if they are satisfied, why should contempt of court proceedings be initiated against the heads of the three institutions? Justice Babar Sattar also issued a 40-page judgment on all four objection petitions against the judge, saying that the objection petitions from hearing the case were malicious.

The court imposed a fine of Rs 5.5 lakh on PEMRA, PTA, IB, FIA for filing the applications.
