Baganbari is bought in the name of son and his girlfriend, Ayan’s father’s account is also noticed by ED
Ayan Sheel has been at the center of attention for the past few days in the recruitment corruption probe. New stories of Ayan’s wealth and prestige are coming to light every day. However, Ayan’s cool father claimed that he did not know anything about his son’s achievements. However, ED is not convinced. They are looking into the bank account transactions of Ayan’s father and son.
According to ED sources, Ayan used various schemes to whiten black money. He used to invest money in various ways. He also invested money through his close friends and employees. On that basis, ED is examining the bank accounts of Ayan’s father Sadanand Sheel and son Abhishek Sheel. Detectives have found out that Ayan is the owner of a petrol pump called Shukla Service Centre. Billions of rupees from that transaction went into Ayan’s son’s bank account. Besides, he also bought a farm house named ‘The Fossils’ in the name of Abhishek Sheel and his girlfriend Eamon.
The detectives are also looking into Ayan’s dealings with his close model Shweta Chakraborty. Several bank accounts of Shweta are reportedly under the watch of detectives. Besides, it is known that Ayan and Shweta bought a flat worth 70 lakh rupees on the opposite side of Kamarhati municipality. Shweta was seen in that flat last week too. Shweta was a civil engineer of Kamarhati municipality. Municipal authorities have already started looking into his recruitment process.
Detectives estimate that Ayan raised 50 crore rupees only by selling municipal jobs. But the ED is probing whether the entire money is with him or has gone to influential people.
