Bangladesh 565 out, leading Pakistan by 117 runs

In the Rawalpindi Test, the Bangladesh team was bowled out for 565 runs in their first innings, leading Pakistan by 117 runs.

Bangladesh kept the Pakistani bowlers unbeaten on the fourth day of the Pindi Test and added another 249 runs to the previous day’s total.

On the fourth day of the Pindi Test, Bangladesh started their first innings incomplete with 316 runs for 5 out, Mushfiqur Rahim was at the wicket with 55 runs and Laton Das with 52 runs.

Liton Das was dismissed by Naseem Shah after adding just 4 runs to his previous day’s score, while Mushfiqur Rahim continued his responsible batting and completed his 11th century in Test cricket.

Mehdi Hasan Miraz came in to support Mushfiqur Rahim and between the two, a partnership of 196 runs was formed for the seventh wicket, which not only ended Pakistan’s lead but also earned him the lead for his team.

Mushfiqur Rahim scored 191 runs and was caught by Mohammad Rizwan off Mohammad Ali, while Mehdi Hasan, who scored 77 runs, was bowled by Shaheen Afridi.

Among the closed batsmen, Shoraf Salam scored 22 runs to take the team to a total of 565.

On behalf of Pakistan, Naseem Shah dismissed 3 players while Shaheen Afridi, Khurram Shehzad and Muhammad Ali took two each while Saeem Ayub took one wicket.

Other prominent players of Bangladesh include Shadman Islam who scored 93 runs and Mominul Haq who scored 50 runs.

Pakistan scored 448 runs in their first innings thanks to Mohammad Rizwan’s 171 and Shaood Shakeel’s 141 and the Green Caps declared their first innings for the loss of 6 players.
