Bhavnagar saw an increase in H3N2 cases

Two new cases of H3N2 have been reported in Bhavnagar city, raising the concern of the citizens. In which a total of six cases of H3N2 flu have been reported in Bhavnagar so far. In which three cases are currently active, two persons are undergoing treatment in a private hospital in the newly registered case. While one has been home isolated.

More than a thousand cases of cold-cough occurred

The health department has sprung into action as the H3N2 virus slowly creeps up in the city. Bhavnagar is witnessing an increase in H3N2 cases. Concerns about the H3N2 virus rearing its head in the city have increased. In the last one month alone, four cases have come up in this city. Out of which three patients have been discharged after recovery, while a 22-year-old girl is undergoing treatment in a private hospital. There have been more than a thousand cold-cough cases in a week.

Cough can last up to 3 weeks

Cases of viral infection are also increasing in the state due to H3N2 this virus. Health concerns have increased due to the knock of this virus. According to experts, the flu is a contagious respiratory virus that affects the nose, throat, upper respiratory tract and in some cases even the lungs. Talking about the symptoms of H3N2 flu, they include fever, cough, sore throat, vomiting and diarrhea. According to doctors this flu usually lasts for 5 to 7 days. Worryingly, the fever goes away on the third day of the flu, but the cough can last up to 3 weeks.
