Attention

During August 14 (Night) and 15: Heavy rains in Nowshera, Swabi, Mardan, Charsadda, Peshawar, Bunir, Saidu Sharif, Mansehra, Kohistan, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Balakot, Islamabad / Rawalpindi, Northeast Punjab, Murree, Galiat and local/barren rivers of Kashmir and flood risk in hilly areas of Deir Ghazi Khan.
Low-lying areas of Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Sialkot, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Nowshera, Mardan, Charsadda and Peshawar are feared to be inundated due to heavy rains.
Due to heavy rains, there is a risk of landslides in the mountainous areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Guliyat and Kashmir.

The weather conditions

Rain with gusty winds and thundershowers over Southeast Sindh and Northeast/Eastern Punjab. However, strong winds and thundershowers are also likely to occur in Kashmir, Potohar region, Islamabad, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North Punjab and East Balochistan in the evening/night.

Islamabad

In Islamabad and Gur two areas, the weather will be humid and partly cloudy, in the evening/night, there will be strong winds/gusts of wind and rain with thunder and heavy rain at a few places.

Baluchistan

The weather is likely to be hot and humid in most districts of the province. However, strong winds and thundershowers are expected at few places in Barkhan, Kohlu, Loralai, Zhob, Khuzdar, Awaran, Lasbela and Gar du Nawah in the evening/night.

Punjab

Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Lahore, Nankana Sahib, Kasur, Pakpattan, Okara, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan with strong winds and thundershowers. However, during the evening/night, strong winds/gusty winds and thunderstorms will occur in Murree, Galiat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Tala Gang, Jhelum, Mianwali, Khushab and Sargodha, while heavy rain is likely in some few seats.

Sindh

The weather will be wet in most districts of the province, while the forecast will remain partly cloudy in the eastern districts. However, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds and thunder at few places in Sanghar, Khairpur, Sukkur, Ghotki, Umarkot, Tharparkar, Mithi and Mirpur Khas

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The weather will be humid and partly cloudy in most districts of the province. However, strong winds and thunderstorms occur in Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Butgram, Mansehra, Balakot, Abbottabad, Haripur, Buner, Nowshera, Swabi, Charsadda, Mardan, Peshawar, Kirk, Kohat, Malakand and Kurram during the evening/ At night with the rain, there is also the possibility of heavy rain in some places.

Gilgit-Baltistan

It is expected to remain partly cloudy in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Kashmir

Apart from being partly cloudy in Kashmir, strong winds and lightning are likely to occur in the evening/night hours, while there is a chance of heavy rain at a few places.
