BJP to form government in 3 northeastern states: Assam CM confident

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sharma said that there will not be a hung assembly in the states of Tripura, Nagaland and Meghalaya as suggested by some polls and the BJP will form the government with a majority in the three states.
The counting of votes for the Tripura, Nagaland and Meghalaya assembly polls will take place on March 2.
Speaking to reporters in Guwahati, Himanta Viswa Chama said, ‘After the elections, no party in the NDA will join the Congress or the Trinamool Congress alliance. At the same time, there will be no hung assembly in all the three states. BJP will form government with majority strength. BJP will hold the CM post in Tripura.
A coalition government will be formed in Nagaland. The Chief Minister post will be decided based on the number of seats the BJP wins in Meghalaya.
Child marriage does not take place:
Due to the strict action taken by the state government against child marriage, not a single child marriage has taken place in Assam in the last one month,’ he said.
