Bottle thrown at famous singer for singing only Hindi songs – Two arrested in Karnataka Pipa News

From 27th to 29th January 2023, a 3-day ‘Hambi Utsavam’ program was organized by the Government of Karnataka to honor the heritage of the Vijayanagara Empire at Hampi in Bellary District, Karnataka. On Sunday night, the final day of the show, popular singer Kailash Kher sang songs.

Kailash Kher Hampi, a singer from Uttar Pradesh, sang only Hindi songs while singing on the show. Enraged fans shouted for Kannada songs. Regardless of this, Kailash Kher continued to sing Hindi songs.

After this, an angry person threw a water bottle at him from the crowd. But the bottle did not hit the singer and fell on the stage beyond him. Regardless of this, Kailash Kher continued to sing Hindi songs non-stop. In no time, a video of an event coordinator arriving and taking away the bottle went viral on the internet.

The Hampi police came to the stage and warned that strict action would be taken against those who threw water bottles and disrupted the programme. Later, they registered a case and started an investigation into the incident.

At that time, the police arrested Pradeep (22) and Surender (21) belonging to the Kannada Rakshana Vedike organization. During the investigation conducted by the police, it is reported that both of them confessed that they threw the bottle because they did not sing the Kannada song.
