Bridge course in paramedical is being started in this state

Puber’s Pen Correspondent: The bridge course in paramedical is being started in the state from the next academic year. There are 102 paramedical colleges in this state both government and private. Diploma courses are running in these colleges. 2-year bridge course will be introduced only in those government colleges in the state.

Total number of seats in paramedical colleges in the state is 3000 including government and private. DK Ghosh, official of the State Paramedical Council, said that the students had been demanding for many days to start the paramedical course. Paramedical courses are being introduced for the convenience of students. He told Puber Kalam that the syllabus for this course has already been prepared.

These courses generally do not require a lot of qualifications. Anyone who has passed class 12th from a recognized school can do the specific professional course for this profession. But in many cases it is considered important to have physics, chemistry and biology subjects in class 12 along with it. Usually after completing the paramedics course students get jobs. Apart from certificate, bridge course, one year diploma course, three year bachelors course, two year masters and PhD courses can be done in paramedics.

With the improvement of health services, the number of hospitals, nursing homes, pathological laboratories is increasing. And along with it, the demand of workers who know how to work in paramedical is increasing.
