BSF jawan from Nadia killed himself by firing on service revolver in Gujarat camp

Sanjit Ghosh, Nadia: BSF jawan commits suicide by firing his service revolver. Ajay Biswas, a resident of Bagh Anchra in Shantipur block of Nadia, was working at the BSF camp in Gujarat. People in the house found out that he committed suicide on Sunday. A departmental inquiry into the incident has been initiated. Ajay’s body reached his home in Shantipur on Monday night. His body was cremated after BSF jawans paid their last respects with a song of salute.
According to family sources, Ajay Biswas, son of Nitai Biswas, a resident of Baganchra Panchayat in Santipur block, was a BSF jawan, working in Gujarat. Ajay’s marriage was recently arranged in Habibpur, Nadia. He also had difficulties. But around 9:30 am on Sunday, news came home that Ajay had committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with his service revolver. It is not known why this BSF jawan in Bengal killed himself like this. Family members can’t guess either.

After the incident on Sunday, Ajay’s body was brought to Shantipur from Gujarat late on Monday night with the help of BSF. Last night the BSF paid their last respects to the young man with a song of salute. Later, Ajay Biswas was cremated in Shantipur crematorium. Biswas family including Baganchra area was completely shocked by this sudden incident. Village in mourning.
