Cabinet exercise shifted to High Command courtyard; CM, DCM to Delhi – News18 Kannada

Bengaluru: CM Siddaramaiah and DCM DK Shivakumar have left for Delhi amidst increasing pressure on ministerial aspirants. Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar will travel to Delhi this evening to discuss the first Cabinet Expansion with the High Command. There was a tug-of-war between Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar regarding the cabinet. In the first phase, only 8 people could join the cabinet. Accounts have not been allotted to the eight members of the cabinet yet.

Siddaramaiah and DK Sivakumar are said to have prepared a separate list.

In this list they give first priority to their relatives. However, it has been learned that CM Siddaramaiah has decided to keep two to four seats vacant in the wake of Lok Sabha elections next year.

Possibility of distribution of ministerial posts under four quotas!

It is said that there are possibilities of allocation of ministerial posts under four quotas namely Siddaramaiah, DK Shivakumar, Mallikarjuna Kharge and High Command.

It is being said that there have been discussions about giving ministerial position to six MLAs each under the quota of three as against 11 under CM Siddaramaiah’s quota.
