ISLAMABAD: Rain with strong winds and thunder has been predicted in various parts of the country including Punjab.
According to the Meteorological Department, the federal capital and surrounding areas are expected to be partly cloudy on Friday with strong winds and thundershowers at some places.
The weather will remain hot and dry in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. However, strong winds and lightning are expected at few places in Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Mardan, Peshawar, Karam, Kohat, Kirk, Lucky Marwat and Dera Ismail Khan.

The weather is expected to remain hot and dry in most districts of Punjab. However, gusty winds and lightning were experienced at a few places in Murree, Galiat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Talagang, Mianwali, Mandi Bahauddin, Narowal, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Okada a chance of rain.
