Cheating | One crore 56 lakh cheated in the name of online trading in Noida
Noida: A case of alleged cheating of Rs 1.56 crore from a person in the name of online trading has come to light in Sector 36 of Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Inspector Rita Yadav, in-charge of Cybercrime Police Station, Noida’s Sector 36, said that Prawal Chaudhary has filed a report on Friday that in 2021 some people contacted him and entered into an agreement with him for online trading.

Yadav told that initially these people took Prawal into their confidence by showing benefits in online trading and on several occasions they got Rs 1.56 crore deposited from him in their various accounts. The station in-charge told that Prawal later came to know that he had been a victim of fraud. The station in-charge said that the police is investigating the matter by registering a report of the incident. (agency)
