With the World Chess Olympiad set to be held in Mamallapuram for the first time, Indian coach Srinath said that Chief Minister MK Stalin had told him that he was ready to ask for any help.

The World Chess Olympiad kicks off on July 28. The Chess Olympiad is being held for the first time in Mamallapuram, Tamil Nadu. The Government of Tamil Nadu and the All India Chess Federation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate the tournament.

“A memorandum of understanding on responsibilities is currently being signed. Chief Minister MK Stalin said he was ready to do anything to help. The Chess Olympiad is as important as the World Cup. This series takes place once every 2 years. More than 150 countries are currently participating in the series, ”said Indian coach Srinath.
