Barmer. Chitra Singh, wife of former MP Manvendra Singh, died in a road accident near Alwar on Tuesday. Mavanendra Singh and his son Hamir Singh were also injured. The injured were admitted to a private hospital in Alwar. Manvendra had a broken rib in his chest and also a lung injury. His son Hamir Singh had fractures in his nose and hand. The accident took place at Khuspuri near Naugaon in Alwar district on the Delhi-Mumbai road near the Haryana border when the speeding car hit a divider. The driver of the car was also injured. It may be noted that Manvendra Singh lost the 1999 MP elections. Manvendra is again from the BJP in front of Colonel Sonaram Choudhary, who has won the Lok Sabha elections three times. A strategy was devised for Manvendra to win. Jaswantingh then said to his daughter-in-law Chitrasingh, Ladysa Tha, go to Barmer, I will send you Bhela and bring Jitar. Well, that was the day and Chitra Singh became Manvendra’s companion who was seen accompanying Manvendra wherever he stepped into politics. Jaswantingh did not get the ticket in the fight for self-respect 2014. In 2018, Manvendra Singh left the BJP and held a Swabhiman meeting in Pachpadra. Chitra Singh closely follows the whole strategy of the struggle for self-respect. Manvendra contested elections, Chitra was a strategist. In Manvendra’s politics, Chitra Singh’s role was always that of a strategist. In every election held in Jhalawar, Siwana, Barmer-Jaisalmer Lok Sabha, Chitra Singh stayed with Manvendra and supported him there as a strategist.
