In the second qualifier match on Friday, Gujarat Titans lost the toss and entered the field to bat first. Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bowl first. Gill set a huge target with a century
Mumbai won the toss and adopted a runchase strategy. But Gujarat started with an aggressive gear. Opener Shubhan Gill single-handedly made the team’s scoreboard huge. Gill scored a brilliant century. After the first five runs, he scored the remaining fifty runs very fast and furiously. Gill scored 129 runs off 60 balls with 10 sixes. Gill led Gujarat to a big score with a fiery innings. Hardik Pandya played an innings with 2 sixes and 2 fours. He scored 28 runs. Sai Sudarshan returned from retirement after scoring 43 runs.

Bad start for Mumbai
Today, Mumbai could not keep Gujarat under control in bowling as per their plan, but they did not do well in batting either. Mumbai’s opening pair was broken only in the first over.
