Nowadays, a big debate is heard on TV channels regarding dynasty or familism. Discussions go on in the society about this topic as well. In the past, there has been a lot of discussion in the film industry regarding the growing dynasty or familism. Due to this trend, concerns were expressed about not getting opportunities for the new or the people who came from outside. However, dynasticism is mostly seen from a political point of view. The reason for this is that some leaders have brought their own sons and daughters into politics. He has even brought his other relatives and close people into politics by arranging tickets and money to contest elections motivated by his selfishness. Even if that person does not have that much ability.

Some people equate racism with crime, this is not correct. A few decades ago, there was a belief in the society that if someone has committed a crime and has returned after serving a prison sentence or is in jail, then his descendants will also have a criminal mindset. They cannot be trusted in any way. But this is not the mindset of the society in today’s era. People have understood that dynasty has its place and criminality has its place. Many times some criminals have been seen committing wrongdoing under dynasty, but this is the exception. The offender can belong to any region, caste, religion and any class in economic terms.

Not only this, it also has nothing to do with age. The offense can be committed by a child of seven-eight years and by an old man of eighty years. There are innumerable reasons behind committing crimes, not just dynasty. Similarly, someone motivated by patriotism does some commendable work. So it is wrong to assume that his descendants will also be brave like him and will do good deeds for the country.

Looking at dynasty from another point of view, the relationship between one generation to another! A relationship is established naturally by parents with their children and further with their children. This is a positive attitude. Under this, every parent is imbued with the desire to give something to their next generation. In this, there is land-property, money earned and even the prestige received from the society.

Those who are businessmen, they try to entrust their business to their children only. This has been going on for centuries. All of them, being members of a family, have moved forward by supporting each other. In the olden days, only the son of the king was made the king. It finds detailed mention in the stories of Ramayana and Mahabharata. There are many other examples of this kind from olden times. The same is happening to ordinary people. A shopkeeper entrusts the business of the shop to his own son, daughter, Jamai or brother-nephew for further use.

Yes, the number of people starting a new business is also huge. It is an act of courage to start a new shop or step into the film industry without any relatives or acquaintances. In this your ability is seen. Here also success in work can be achieved on the strength of merit. It is not that a new person cannot get a chance due to dynasty. If that were the case, then well-known actors who are outsiders to the film industry; could not succeed. All these were given a chance to move forward by the same people who had already settled in this area. They provided opportunities to outsiders to work in spite of being around their own sons and daughters and other relatives.

My neighbor has a sweet shop. His shop was old and running very well. When he got old, he recognized the merit of a skilled servant working with him and handed over the business of his shop to him. That shop is well maintained. Actually, our neighbor’s own son is a lawyer and he did not consider himself fit to run a sweet shop, so he had to take this decision. The son also agrees with his father’s decision. Not that in any field, the outsider is denied or does not get opportunities. Merit is worshiped everywhere. Therefore, the merit of a person should be assessed on the basis of his intelligence, not on the basis of race or family.
