Congress hypocrisy: BJP attack- Dinamani

While the opposition parties have announced that they will boycott the inauguration of the new parliament building, the BJP has criticized the Congress for playing hypocritical drama in this matter.
BJP National Spokesperson Shesad Poonawala said on Wednesday: It is well known that Congress’ hypocrisy knows no bounds. In 1975, the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi inaugurated the Parliament Building.
In 1987, the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi laid the foundation stone for the Parliament Library building.
When the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi inaugurated the Manipur Legislative Assembly in 2011, no problem arose for the Congress. Likewise, the party has no problem in opening the new Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly building complex. On what basis is Sonia leading in these two inaugurations?
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the central hall of the Bihar Legislative Assembly. Poonawala questioned whether the President or the Governor was insulted in all these 5 incidents.
Assam Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Himanta Viswa Chama said, ‘The opposition parties did not support the new parliament building project from day one. So, it is known that they will not participate in the opening ceremony.
One of the reasons for their boycott was the inauguration of the new Parliament on Veera Savak’s birthday. They did not expect that the Parliament building would be built so quickly. The opposition parties, who are humiliated by this, are playing a play of neglect to cover it up,’ he said.
