Congress shares Smriti Irani’s old video on LPG price hike
“LPG price has been hiked Now LPG prices are going to be more expensive. The Women’s Wing will start a nationwide protest,” Irani is seen saying in the video.
Prices of 14.2 kg domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and 19 kg commercial cylinders have been hiked today from March 1.
There will be a hike of ₹50 per cylinder for domestic consumers and ₹350.50 per bottle for commercial consumers.
Mocking BJP cabinet minister Smriti Irani, Youth Congress chief Srinivas BV shared an old video of the minister on Twitter.
The video is from a press conference held in 2011 when the BJP was in opposition.
