CPM is not in the coordination committee of the India Alliance! What did Abhishek say?
North Bengal News Digital Desk: Opposition formed India Alliance to defeat BJP in Lok Sabha elections. CPM is in trouble with being in the coordination committee of that alliance. According to them, Samambay will not be in the committee even as the party calls for strengthening the India Alliance to defeat the BJP. Trinamool All India General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee went to Delhi on Monday to attend the special session of Parliament. Before that, Abhishek opened his mouth while facing the media at Dumdum airport. He said, ‘What is the position of the CPM, only the CPM can clearly say. We welcome every like-minded party in the fight against BJP. Participate in the fight. CPM or any other political party, who will do what, it is up to them.’
According to the CPM, the obstacle to being in the coalition coordination committee is the national ‘structure’ of the committee. Again creating committees within which coalition leaders make decisions is a hindrance to coalitions. But to defeat the BJP, the All India Alliance has been called upon to sustain the people’s movement with all its might. CPM leader Sujan Chakraborty said, ‘In states like West Bengal where there was no one called BJP, Trinamool brought them on their shoulders. We have to fight against both BJP-Trinamool forces. Some may be hoping that we have to go somewhere with the grassroots. These bogus talks.’
