Delhi’s cold Mahabaleshwar pollution in Mumbai

Mumbai: Mumbaikars are currently enjoying the pink chill. With the cold air like a hill station, however, the breath is filling with poison. On Wednesday, Mumbai’s air pollution levels were higher than Delhi’s. Mumbai’s air quality index was as high as 300.
It is getting very cold in Mumbai for two-three days. The temperature dropped to 14.8 degrees Celsius. Hill stations like Matheran and Mahabaleshwar are currently getting cold in Mumbai. On Wednesday too, the temperature was 15.6 degrees Celsius. On Wednesday, Santacruz in Mumbai recorded a minimum temperature of 15.6 degrees and Colaba 17.6 degrees. While the maximum temperature was recorded at 26 degrees in Santa Cruz and 25.2 degrees in Colaba.
With the increase in cold, the level of pollution in the atmosphere has also increased. Delhi is almost the most polluted city in the country. Average air quality index in Delhi was 115 on Wednesday. In contrast, AQI was as high as 300 in Mumbai. The condition of Mumbaikars has worsened due to increasing pollution. Many people are suffering from respiratory problems including cold, phlegm, cough and burning eyes.
The highest pollution in Mumbai was reported in BKC. Colaba recorded 280, Mazgaon 290, BKC 342, Chembur 323, Andheri 269, Bhandup 242, Malad 211 and Borivali 215. So the average AQI of Navi Mumbai was 321.
