Election officials check helicopter in which DK Shivakumar’s family traveled – Dinamani

Election officials raided the private plane in which the family of Karnataka Congress president DK Shivakumar was traveling.
The private helicopter was traveling from Bengaluru to Dharmasthala in Dakshina Kannada district. Karnataka Congress president Shivakumar’s wife Usha, his son, daughter and son-in-law were traveling in this helicopter. They are said to have visited the Manjunathaswamy temple in Dharmasthala. As soon as their helicopter landed in Dharamsthala, election officials came there to inspect the helicopter. It seems that the pilot of the helicopter asked the election officials why they were checking.
The election officials replied to him and said: We have already given the permission letter obtained for checking the helicopter. They said we should test the helicopter.
The Karnataka Assembly elections are scheduled to be held on May 10. The Rules of Conduct of Elections came into force from the date of announcement of election date.
It is noteworthy that on March 31, the election officials intercepted the car of Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Pomi who was going to the temple.
