Electricity 4 rupees 92 paise more expensive, notification issued

Islamabad: The government has increased the cost of electricity by Rs 4.92 per unit.

Another shock was suffered by the public due to inflation. The National Electricity Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has issued a notification regarding the increase in electricity prices.

According to the notification issued by Nepra, the electricity has been increased by Rs 4.92 paise per unit and the increase in the price of electricity is due to the adjustment of fuel cost in February.

According to the notice, the additional charges will be imposed on customers’ April bills while the increase in electricity prices will not apply to customers of Lifeline and K Electric.
