Electricity is likely to be expensive for Karachi residents at Rs 11 per unit

Karachi (Daily Pakistan Online): An application has been filed in the National Electricity Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) to increase the price of electricity by Rs 11.34 per unit for the residents of Shar-e-Quaid.

K Electric has submitted a request to the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) to increase the price of electricity in the context of May’s monthly fuel price adjustment. NEPRA will hold a hearing on Electric’s request on July 4 There will be an additional burden of Rs 22.65 billion.
