Erode East: Demudika got less votes than independent!

In the Erode East by-election, DMD is lagging behind by getting fewer votes than the independent candidate.

Counting of votes for the Erode East assembly constituency by-election is underway today (March 2). The counting of votes started at 8 am and is being counted at 16 tables at the Government Engineering College in Chithod area. Three layers of security have been put in place for this vote counting work. Also, 450 police and paramilitary personnel are engaged in security work on a rotating basis. For this, 600 policemen have been deployed at the counting center itself.

So far the first two rounds of counting have been completed and the Congress party is leading by a huge margin. While the AIADMK is in the second place and the Naam Tamilar Party is in the third place, the DMDK has got the lowest number of votes.

That is, at the end of the first round of the Erode East constituency by-election, independent candidate Muthu Bhava has secured 178 votes, while DMD candidate Anand has secured only 112 votes. Meanwhile, NOTA has got 182 votes. It is noteworthy that at the end of two rounds, 12 candidates did not get a single vote.
