Fatal accident on Pune Nashik highway; 10 sheep killed in collision between truck and pickup
Sangamner (Ahmednagar); Leading News Service: The pick-up driver lost control of the vehicle and hit the truck in front of him in the limits of Dolasane village on the Pune-Nashik National Highway. In this terrible accident, as many as 10 sheep in the pickup were crushed and killed on the spot. This unfortunate incident took place on Saturday around 4 am.
Further information given by the police is that the truck was carrying cement bricks from Sangamner towards Pune. As he reached Dolasane village limits early on Saturday, Samir Shaikh, a pickup driver carrying sheep from Nashik, Manmad district, lost control of his vehicle and rammed the brick truck in front of him. In this horrific accident, 10 sheep in the pickup were killed on the spot and the front part of the pickup was crushed. Pick-up driver Samir Shaikh and Rama were seriously injured in this accident.
