Former Pakistani President Musharraf handed over in Karachi
Karachi, February 8 (Punjab Mail) – The last rites of Pakistan’s former military ruler General Pervez Musharraf were performed in Karachi. The body of the former president was taken to the UAE. Brought here by special aircraft provided by Musharraf’s wife Saba, son Bilal and other close relatives came to Karachi from Dubai with the dead body. The body was kept at the Gulmohar Polo Ground in Malir Cantt in the afternoon, where dua was offered. The body of the former army chief and president was buried in the military graveyard. Many present and retired army officers were present on this occasion. It may be mentioned that General Musharraf died in Dubai on Sunday after a long illness. After going into self-exile, Musharraf had been living in Dubai for many years.
