"Give a three-wheeler" – The collector gave a pleasant surprise to the old lady who gave the petition!
Villupuram District Collector has made the old woman flexible after petitioning for a three-wheeler.
Grievance adjudication meeting which is held every week on Monday was held at Villupuram District Collectorate today. In today’s meeting, more than 50 differently-abled people filed a petition emphasizing various demands, including the provision of monthly incentives, employment loans and equipment for the differently-abled.
At that time, an old woman named Jayalakshmi from Olakure village who had come to apply for the differently abled allowance, submitted a petition to the district collector insisting on providing the differently abled allowance and a three-wheeler. Collector Mohan acceded to the request of the old woman who had requested to provide a three wheeler vehicle. Ordered to deliver immediately.
Following this, a new three-wheeler was brought by the differently-abled department officials and the old woman was given a three-wheeler and asked to drive it. The incident in which a three-wheeler was provided to the district collector after making a request has given the differently-abled people a morale boost.
