Gulab Jamun is a traditional Indian sweet. But today we tell you such a new recipe, which turns this popular sweet into a delicious curry or vegetable. Since this dish is very high in calories, it can be prepared on special occasions like a festival or party. It is served with naan or basmati rice. By the way, if you want, you can also eat it with roti or paratha.

Ingredients: For Gulab Jamun

• Khoya: 1/2 cup

• Paneer: 1 cup

• Corn flour: 2 tbsp

• Mace powder: a pinch

• Cardamom powder: 1/2 tsp

• Pistachios (chopped): 1 tablespoon

• Salt: a pinch

Ingredients: For vegetables

• Oil: 4 tbsp

• Curd: 1/2 cup

• Fresh cream: 1/4 cup

• Onion (chopped): 1 cup

• Garlic: 8-9 pieces

• Green chilies: 2 nos.

• Ginger: 1/2 inch

• Tomatoes (chopped): 1 cup

• Salt: 1 tablespoon

• Bay leaf: 1 no.

• Cinnamon: 1 inch

• Black cardamom: 1 no.

• Green cardamom: 3 nos.

• Cloves: 4-5 pieces

• Black pepper: 10-12 pieces

• Fennel: 1 teaspoon

• Ground coriander: 1 tablespoon

• Cumin: 1 teaspoon

• Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp

• Red chilli powder: 1 teaspoon

• Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon

• Cumin powder: 1 teaspoon

• Garam masala: 1/2 tsp

• Kasuri Methi: 1 tablespoon

• Green coriander (chopped): 1 tablespoon

• Water: As needed

Procedure: in Gulab Jamun

– Knead the khoya until it becomes smooth. Then add the grated cheese. Now add salt, mace powder, cardamom powder and cornflour. Continue kneading the dough until it becomes soft.

– If the dough becomes too soft, divide it into small portions. Fill each portion with chopped pistachios and give it a round shape. Now heat the oil and fry everything until it turns golden brown.

Procedure: of vegetables

– Heat oil in a pan and add bay leaves, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, black pepper, fennel and cumin. Let them explode. After this add chopped onion, garlic, green chilies and ginger. Fry until the onion turns golden.

Now add the chopped tomatoes and a pinch of salt. Cook the tomatoes until soft. Let the mixture cool. After the mixture cools down, make a soft paste in a blender.

– Heat oil in another pan. Add cumin, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and garam masala. Then add the butter and cook until the oil dries up. Now add tomato paste and some water. Cook until thickened. Add salt, kasoori fenugreek and chopped coriander.

– Now add the fried gulab jamuns to the gravy. Cook them for two to three minutes so that the gravy is absorbed well.

Now put the fresh cream on it. Shake it well. The royal curry of Gulab Jamun is ready.
