Shimla, December 9 – The Congress High Command has conducted an exercise to elect a new Chief Minister in the state of Himachal Pradesh in the foothills of the Himalayas. Pratibha Singh, former Congress president Sukhwinder Singh Sakku, and current legislature party leader Mukesh Agni Hotri are in the forefront of the race for the chief ministerial candidate. Today, the new MLAs will hold a formal discussion and after that they will take a one-line decision leaving the issue of the chief ministerial candidate to the party leaders. Earlier, the Congress party’s new MLAs had intended to meet in Chandigarh.
