‘He must have loved it’: Commemorative match for hundreds of beloved St. Knotts teens raises thousands for charity

A commemorative match for a St Niotes teen whose life was tragically cut short in a van accident raised more than £8,000 for charity, with hundreds attending raffles, cake sales and football games were. “He was the first person I drove after passing my test and he was the first in my new car when I bought one. Personally I would say he was my best friend, but I know his lot. They were all friends. I can’t say that there was anyone out there who would say bad words about him, he was just a cute kid. Everyone liked him.”

As well as working and studying for exams, Harrison, then known as Harry, has organized a massive event over the past few months working with Jacob’s friends, family, and loved ones, who have helped the teens. “We stayed until late Friday night to make everything right and then the day we had 700 people, which was more than I could imagine. It was crazy, absolutely unbelievable.
