Delhi: After the Auto Expo in India, many segment scooters have been launched, while Honda has also launched its upcoming scooter Activa – H Smart. Now in response to this, Indian bike and scooter manufacturer Hero MotoCorp is also preparing to launch a new scooter. According to a report, Maestro Xoom scooter can be launched on 30 January. The upcoming scooter will be the company’s most feature-packed scooter in the 110 cc segment. For the first time in the segment, a 110 cc Hero scooter will get 12-inch alloy wheels on either side.

Planning to launch third scooter in this segment

Hero’s new scooters in the 110 cc segment see a very strong competition. Hero MotoCorp is planning to launch the third scooter in this segment. The company will launch the Hero Maestro Xoom on January 30. The teaser from the two-wheeler brand reveals that the front end of the upcoming scooter has been completely redesigned. At the same time, X-shaped LED headlights will also be seen in it. According to a report, a fully-digital dash can be given in Maestro Xoom with Bluetooth connectivity. Apart from this, it is also likely to get features like smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS alerts. The company can also offer disc brakes with 12-inch alloy wheels. This could be the costliest 100 cc scooter in the company’s lineup.

Talking about the specifications of Maestro Xoom, the power of Maestro Edge’s 8hp, 8.7 Nm 110cc engine can be used in it. Apart from this, it is also expected to get the great technology of Pleasure + XTEC. The Pleasure+ XTEC comes equipped with the company’s patented i3s start-stop technology which ensures better fuel efficiency. Hero’s 100 cc lineup includes the Pleasure+ and the Maestro Edge. Talking about their price, the ex-showroom price of Pleasure+ is Rs 68,368-77,268, while the ex-showroom price of Maestro Edge is between Rs 69,816-74,910. In such a situation, there is a possibility that the price of the upcoming Maestro Xoom will be higher than both these scooters.
