‘I don’t have a mom and dad’ little girl rescue from train station toilet

Railway police rescued a 17-year-old girl who was staying in the toilet of Coimbatore railway station and handed her over to the Child Protection Welfare Association.

Railway police yesterday found a 17-year-old girl staying in the toilet of the Coimbatore railway station. When questioned, he said he had come from Andhra Pradesh in search of work and when he arrived at the Coimbatore railway station, the person who had picked him up had left him alone.


The girl said that she had no parents and had not eaten for two days. Following this, the details about the girl were informed to the Skyline officials. The child line staff who arrived there rescued the girl and handed her over to the Don Pasco love home in Coimbatore.
