Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Odisha will be held in a few months. In such a situation, the Congress organized a large public meeting, which showed its power in the state. Today, this meeting was held in Bhubaneswar, where Congress president Mallikarjan Kharge said that if Modi ji wins again in 2024 Lok Sabha elections, he will not allow the elections. The era of dictatorship will begin in the country. The Congress president further said that the Modi government is bringing people back to its side through intimidation. The responsibility to protect the constitution lies with the people. Give ED notice to everyone.

Kharge also blamed the Modi government for the recent political situation in Bihar. He said that Modi brought an India Alliance leader there. They scare people. Some people leave friendships, some people leave parties and some people leave alliances out of fear. If there are too many shy people, there will be no constitution and no democracy left in the country. Kharge advised everyone to stay away from RSS and BJP as they are like poison.

It can be noted that the ground of Congress in Odisha is steadily gaining strength. Meanwhile, Congress president Kharge participated in the ‘Odisha Bachao Samavesh’ function held in Bhubaneswar on January 29. In his speech, Kharge criticized the internal nexus between the two parties, the BJD (Biju Janata Dal) and the BJP, and said that BJD-BJP ‘lo Marriage’ means love marriage.

Addressing the flood of people participating in the ‘Odisha Bachao Samavesh’, Mallikarjun Kharge said, “Odisha is considered a good place for Jagannathji.” Pandit Nehruji and Biju Patnaikji were very good friends. He believed in Nehruji’s ideals. But the Patnaiks now follow the ideals of the BJP. There is little marriage between BJD and BJP. It is a love marriage to destroy Odisha.

During his speech, Congress president Kharge also listed the development works of the Congress government. He said, “Congress gave Paradeep Port, Rourkela Steel Plant, Chilka Naval Academy, Mancheshwar Rail Coach Factory, HAL, Ordnance Factory, AIIMS and many major educational institutions to Odisha. But now Patnaik along with GBJP has allowed belongs to Odisha to disappear.

Talking about unemployment in Odisha, BJD promises and scams, Kharge said, “More than 45 lakh youth are unemployed in Odisha. 2 lakh 36 thousand posts are vacant in various departments of government. When BJD came to government in 2005-06, it promised to provide 35% irrigation facilities in each block by 2011-12. BJD government promised that cold storage facilities will be provided to all 314 blocks in the state. But even after 20 years, those promises remain unfulfilled. This includes the leaders of BJD and BJP, they are restrained. Odisha has 29 percent ST and 16 percent SC. Even moreover, these people did not get any major jobs in the Patnaik government.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said that all BJD MPs, MLAs bow down to an official. Now Odisha is run by someone who has nothing to do with Odisha. This is a serious blow to the dignity of the people of Odisha. Kharge promised to fight hard against that government. At the same time, he said in relation to the alliance with India that just as the departure of one person does not weaken India, the departure of one or two people does not weaken the alliance with India. Let us come out, unite and defeat BJP and BJD.
