Rail Coach Factory, a premium product unit of Railways, Kapurthala has failed to deliver a single Vande Bharat train in 2022-23. However, he was given a target of delivering India in 32 overs.
The documents revealed that the rail coach factory has given reason for not supplying electronic devices for this villag.
August due to this delay, Railways’ ambitious plan to run 75 Vande Bharat trains by 2024 could suffer a setback.
Railway Coach Factory Vande Bharat is lagging behind in the production of trains as well as in the production of coaches. Against the target of 1885 coaches only 1478 coaches have been prepared in 2022-23.

By the end of 2023, only 153 3HP MEMU trains have been built against the set target of 256. Apart from this only 1325 LHB coaches have been constructed against the target of 1520 LHB coaches.
According to officials, the Vande Bharat train was manufactured at the factory in September, It will start from 2024. Railway RCF this year,
Kapurthala has targeted the construction of 64 Vand Bharat trains.
