India won the Asia Cup title for the eighth time by defeating Sri Lanka – Public News

Colombo: India defeated defending champions Sri Lanka by 10 wickets in the final of the Asia Cup ODI to win the Asia Cup title for the eighth time.

According to the details, in the Asia Cup final, India easily achieved the target of only 51 runs by Sri Lanka in 6.1 overs by winning the match by 10 wickets and became the Asian champion.

Ishan Kishan scored 23 runs while Shamban Gul scored 27 runs for India.

It should be noted that Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat first against India, which turned out to be completely wrong.

Sri Lanka’s first six batsmen were bowled out for just 12 runs while the entire Sri Lankan team was bowled out for 50 runs in 15.2 overs.
